To receive all notifications sent by Door Keeper, go to your smartphone settings and allow notifications sent by the app.

Also consider in the app to select the sending of notifications. To get done go to "Manage Access" and then to the "Relevant Settings" tab. Select "Activate notifications".

If your smartphone isn't networked, you won't receive notifications. Similarly, in the case of non-functional Internet gateway you will not be notified.
