The magnets of Elixo magnetic end-limit's are polarized. They must be therefore be mounted with care, if not the motor will not recognize the magnet and the sliding gate will continue to move.

On each magnet an inscription R (Right) or L (Left) indicates where to place it on the gate.

Once magnet L on the left side and magnet R on the right side you also have to pay attention to the assembly direction.

Correct position

The flat part on the magnet is mounted opposite to the motor facing the gate.
