What is the LPM (Low Power Mode) compatibility and why should I deactivate it on Amy® io?
What is the LPM (Low Power Mode) compatibility?
The Low Power Mode allow the control point to be compatible to autonomous motors (solar or battery powered).
It is ON by default on Amy io but we recommande to deactivate it for Amy that controlled wired solutions to reduce radio emissions and facilitate communication performances.
Warning: Embedded LPM is 250 ms: Not compatible with Velux products. For products which don’t embed the Modes function, Mode button is used to deactivate / activate the LPM (1 press for mode 1 with LPM, 2 presses or more for mode 1 without LPM)
How to deactivate the LPM (Low Power Mode) compatibility?
The MODE button on the back of Amy io allow to select the control mode to use depending on the end-product being controlled:
- Mode 1: To control roller shutters, screens, windows, garage doors, gates
- Mode 2: To control lighting and heating (ON/OFF)
- Mode 3: To control venetian blinds and roller shutters with adjustable slats
- Mode 4: To control venetian blinds with adjustable slats
Repeat successive short press on the MODE button in the back of the radio control to select the desired mode:
- 1 Press: io mode 1 with LPM activated
- 2 Presses: io mode 2 with LPM activated
- 3 Presses: io mode 3 with LPM activated
- 4 Presses: io mode 4 with LPM activated
- 5 Presses: io mode 1 with LPM deactivated
- 6 Presses: io mode 2 with LPM deactivated
- 7 Presses: io mode 3 with LPM deactivated
- 8 Presses: io mode 4 with LPM deactivated
Note: To check the mode selected, make a long press (>2s) on MODE button to see the setting LED feedback corresponding to the current mode selected. The number of flashes of the feedback indicator light indicates the selected mode and if the light is green LPM is activated if it is red LPM is deactivated.
