How to create and modify a thermal comfort scene with TaHoma?

Step 1: Open TaHoma app and click on «Scene» menu

Create a new scene, then choose "Thermal confort" in the list of our suggested scenes.

 

 

 

Step 2: Identify & configure your façade

 

Identify & configure the most exposed façade.​

 

Is there a indoor temperature sensor or a outdoor brightness sensor you want to associate to this façade?​

 

 

  • A: For installation without sensors, choose ‘no sensor’​
  • B: For installation with a light sensor, select one of them​
  • C: For installation with a temperature sensor, select one of them​ (the other façades can be configured later)​

Step 3: Choose your level of protection for summer season

 

5 modes of protection are avaible to find the right balance between thermal efficiency and light confort during summer period.​ ​

 

  • With the slider, choose the level of protection ​

 

 

 

 

By default the level 4 is selected.​

 

  • The last level will be the most restrictive in terms of light and also the most thermally efficient.​
  • The first level will be the least restrictive in terms of light and also the least thermally efficient.

 

Step 4: Select your devices

Select the device on the same façade that will be controlled:

 

  • A: your facade is configured! You can also set up your other façades now or come back to them later
  • B: Here is the summary of your scene.

 

 

Step 5: Easy customization

 

From the summary of your scene:​ ​

 

A: Select the façade you want to customize​ ​

 

 

B: Select the season you want to customize:​

 

  • Summer​
  • Winter & Mid season ​

C: For a quick customization, you can adjust the protection level​ with the slider

 

Or you can access to the advanced settings

 

 

Step 6: Advanced settings 1/2

 

To access advanced settings:​

 

  • A: Choose action you want to customize: Position1, Position 2, etc.
  • B: Then choose the parameters you want to customize

 

 

Step 7: Advanced settings 2/2

 

You can customize:

 

  • A: Light thershold (your installation has sun sensors)​
  • B: Temperature thershold (your installation has indoor temperature sensors)​
  • C: Time slots​
  • D: Percentage of opening / closing of devices

 

 

 

 

Step 8: Please note

 

You must manually select the season if you want to switch from the summer program to the winter & mid season program.
