It is recommended to use the Somfy thermostatic valve io with the TaHoma home automation box. However, it can be used without TaHoma as a simple thermostatic valve, without any programming function. It will then work according to the temperature at which you manually set the valve.

The Somfy thermostatic valves io are compatible with the TaHoma V2 automation box. There is no compatibility with other boxes (TaHoma V1, Connexoon).
