Daikin and Somfy are collaborating to offer a solution that combines Somfy's expertise in connected homes with Daikin's in home heating and air-conditioning. Thanks to their joint offer, homeowners and occupants using TaHoma can centralise and control their home's equipment remotely. They manage comfort more effectively to save on their home's energy usage.

Centralise and control all home equipment in one app

Using Somfy's TaHoma app, homeowners and occupants can manage and control Daikin air/air and air/water heat pumps and air conditioners. They can go even further and do the same with over 100 pieces of home equipment (shutters, blinds, lights).

As they get ready to go out, homeowners can launch their "leaving" scene. In one click, shutters close, lights turn off and heating switches to "eco" mode.

Control Heating Remotely

Homeowners control their Daikin heat pump remotely using the TaHoma app.

On the return trip from holidays, homeowners turn their heating and air-conditioning back on so that a warm and comfortable home welcomes them.

Warm the Home and Save Energy

Daikin and Somfy's compatibility means homeowners' shutters become even more intelligent, helping them save energy.

In the summer, shutters close automatically to keep the home cooler, before turning on the cooling system. In the winter, they close automatically as soon as temperatures drop, keeping heat inside the home.

For compatibility between air to water heatpumps and TaHoma, an additionnal Daikin WLAN card (ref. BRP069B42/B45 - BRP069C81) might be necessary.

Non-exhaustive list of products. At the moment Daikin air conditioning unit is equipped with Onecta accessory, this is compatible with TaHoma..
