It is now possible to control Hitachi heat pumps with Somfy's TaHoma® solution. Heating and air conditioning can be adjusted when at home or remotely.

Energy savings

Remote Control

Occupants and homeowners can programme and control remotely the heating, the boiler and fan speed. It's also possible to switch equipment off instead of leaving it on standby. See in real time equipment status and position.

Create scenes

Shutters open in the morning and a few lights switch on. In the evening, the shutters close. Switch the heat pump to the 'holiday' setting.

One remote control for everything

With TaHoma® mobile app, occupants can manage their heating, the boiler's temperature, open the garage door for a delivery, roll up the patio awning when it rains, turn off the heat pump…while at home or away directly from their smartphone.

Hitachi equipment compatible with Somfy

• Wall heat pumps (Summit, Performance, Shirokuma, Shirokuma S, Takai, Mokai, Dodai, Dodai 2, Lorai, airHome 400, airHome 600)

• Floor heat pumps (Performance, Shirokuma, Floor type Shirokuma R32)

• Duct heat pumps (Monozone, Duct R32)

• Cassette heat pumps (Monozone, Cassette R32)
• All indoor units from 2013 onwards (series A: RPA, PPA, QXA, PXA, FPA, QPA and subsequent series B, C, D, E and F) up to airHome units launched in 2022 (series PHAE).

• Indoor units before 2013: series NH5A, NH6A, NH7A, DH7A and QH8 are also compatible. (Examples of indoor unit references: RAK-25NH6A, RAD-50PPA, RAK-35REF, RAK-DJ50PHAE...).

For all the above units, the SPX-TAG01 gateway sold by HITACHI is required.
