Thanks to the partnership between Maco and Somfy, it is possible to check window status at any time when using
the m-tronic sensor in combination with TaHoma®.

Occupants perform a simple check via the TaHoma app to see if all windows are closed when leaving home.

If a storm rolls in, all windows in the house can be checked remotely to see if they're closed, and if not, the roller shutter in front of each can be closed.

An attempted intrusion via a window fitted with a Maco m-tronic sensor is reported through TaHoma before the window is even opened. Depending on the scenes the homeowner may have programmed, a decision can be made as to who should be notified in such an instance, and/or what sort of scene to launch at the property (lights on, close blinds).

Save energy the smart way with Maco m-tronic sensors and TaHoma. When a window is opened, TaHoma sends a signal to the thermostat installed in the room. The heating or air conditioning switches off. This is a simple and efficient way to save energy.
