Checking each window's status

Roto and Somfy's partnership makes it possible to check the status of windows at any time, when using the Roto com-tec sensors (Basic and Comfort S) in combination with TaHoma.

• Occupants and homeowners perform a simple check to see if all windows are closed when leaving their home, via the TaHoma app.

• They can remotely check whether all windows in the house are closed when a storm rolls in. If they aren't, simply close the roller shutter in front of the windows.

Attempted intrusions notification

The Roto com-tec Comfort S sends an alert to TaHoma about an attempted intrusion, before the window is even opened. Upon receiving the message in their app, homeowners or occupants can decide who to notify, and/or what sort of scene to launch to dissuade burglars (light on, close blinds).

Energy savings with smart windows

Roto sensors integrated into TaHoma allows homeowners and occupants to save energy the smart way: TaHoma sends a signal to the thermostat installed in the room to automatically turn itself off when a window is opened.
