Thanks to the partnership between Siegenia and Somfy, homeowners and occupants can integrate automated window and lift-and-slide elements into TaHoma® app, and connect them with other TaHoma components.

For instance, to prevent mould from forming in the bathroom, good ventilation is essential. An automated window can do the job in a convenient and energy efficient manner, in combination with smart heating control and air humidity measurement.

Convenient window opening and closing

Heavy lift-and-slide elements can be integrated and conveniently controlled in the TaHoma app.

Manual operation of increasingly large lift-and-slide windows requires an ever greater amount of effort. Motorised solutions, on the other hand, enable simple opening and closing at the touch of a button. And as part of the TaHoma smart home platform, heating is turned down and lights are switched off when occupants leave the house. All motorised windows close tight as well.

Window status information

Siegenia and Somfy together also make it possible to stay reliably informed of window status at all times. Unsure as to whether a window is open or closed? Homeowners need only to glance at the TaHoma app to find out the exact position of their windows and lift-and-slide doors.
